Specifying the 007
M6 EEx ed IIC/IIB T6 Switchbox from K Controls will
provide you with an angled body design and two point
cover fixing. This will give you quick and easy access
to the internals and a reduction in your commissioning
times. As the enclosure is classified EEx e there are
no flamepaths to maintain and the unit is lighter and
more compact than EEx d equivalents. Add to this the
option of stainless steel and the product becomes particularly
suitable for offshore applications.

requirements of ISO 9001 since 1991 and now holds an
ATEX Licence to manufacture EEx ia, EEx ed and EEx d
equipment.

An integrated device for monitoring
and controlling on/off valves
The addition of one
or more solenoids and a pneumatic control valve to the
007 Switchbox transforms the product into a fully integrated
switch solenoid control centre. The solenoids are protected
from site damage and like the 007T connection is via
a single multicore cable. There are EEx ia and EEx d
options and special versions for double acting stay
put, dual redundant (safety related) systems and single
conduit connection of the electrical and pneumatic signals.

In the 007C two internal solenoids and a specially configured
pneumatic control valve are used to achieve three position
control. Internal limit switches are used to set the
intermediate position and two additional switches together
with a special cam are optionally available to provide
position indication of all three positions.
